EAST装置磁场条件下的辉光放电清洗实验研究

Experimental Studies of EAST Glow Discharge Cleaning in Magnetic Field

  • 摘要: 开展了EAST装置磁场条件下的辉光放电清洗实验。对比和分析了有无磁场条件下辉光放电击穿气压的区别,结果表明放电击穿气压随着磁场强度增加而降低。对单个电极和多个电极磁场下的辉光放电清洗分别进行了研究。其结果显示磁场下放电主要发生在电极附近的壁表面,分散布置的多个电极可以实现整个外侧壁表面的清洗。此外辉光放电清洗适用不同磁场强度的运行环境,且清除率受磁场强度的影响很弱。

     

    Abstract: The glow discharge cleaning(GDC) experiment of the EAST in a magnetic field was carried out.The glow discharge breakdown pressure with and without a magnetic field is compared. The results show that thedischarge breakdown pressure decreases with the increase of the magnetic field strength. The research result of dif-ferent numbers of electrodes shows that the discharge in the magnetic field mainly occurs on the wall surface nearthe electrode, and multiple electrodes dispersedly arranged can realize the cleaning of the entire wall surface. In ad-dition, GDC is suitable for operation with different magnetic field strengths, and the removal rate of impurity isweakly affected by the magnetic field strength.
