Abstract:
Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST) is the first fully superconducting tokamak in the world, built in the year 2006. To improve the operation capability in the long-pulse, high-parameter mode, the machine has undergone large-scale upgrades, including the vacuum system in 2020. In addition to the upgrading of hardware, the vacuum control system also adopts a new application framework to reconstruct the software. This paper introduces a method for the design and implementation of a large-scale vacuum centralized control system based on experimental physics and industrial control system(EPICS), and provides an integrated solution including communication, data archiving, alarm, and human-computer interaction. After the experimental operation, the new version of the control system not only realizes full parameter supervisory of more than 600 sets of devices, but also has unparalleled advantages in system scalability, reliability, and openness.
