NaCl晶体的电子激发分解研究(英文)

Direct Observation of Electron-Stimulated Desorption Process in NaCl Single Crystal

  • 摘要: 通过原位高分辨率透射电子显微镜研究了NaCl晶体的电子激发分解(ESD)过程。实验发现在电子束辐照下,NaCl晶体的不同表面会以相似的分解速率减小。NaCl晶体的外壳层会有许多钠颗粒形成,随着ESD过程的进行,钠颗粒会聚结成大的Na颗粒。在发生电子激发分解的NaCl晶体内部,存在丰富的矩形岛状结构,这种矩形结构的尺寸约为4-7 nm,其中一些拐角发生破缺形成扭结点,同时在NaCl晶体内部也发现了大量位错。研究还发现,碳氢化合物包裹层可以减缓NaCl薄膜的电子激发分解过程。

     

    Abstract: The electron-stimulated desorption(ESD) process of NaCl has been studied by in situ high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The size of the NaCl crystal is decreasing with the decomposition rates on each NaCl surface similar. Many sodium colloids form around the cuboid shape shell, which may coalesce into large Na colloids as the ESD process goes on. Inside the NaCl crystal, abundant rectangular islands are distributed with a side length of 4-7 nm. Some of the corners are truncated with kink sites formed.Meanwhile, dislocations can be found inside the Nacl crystal. A hydrocarbon layer can decelerate the desorption process of NaCl thin film.
