基于FLUENT的热力蒸汽压缩机流动模拟

Flow State and Formation of Rhombic Shock-Wave in Thermal Vapor Compressor: A Simulation Study

  • 摘要: 热力蒸汽压缩机(TVC)具有结构简单、投资少、易于维护等优点,在水处理领域有着广泛应用。使用流体模拟软件FLUENT对TVC进行了数值模拟,验证了其内部流场与激波特性,分析了运行参数对热力蒸汽压缩机内部流动状态的影响。这对于TVC性能研究及优化设计具有重大意义。

     

    Abstract: The flow-field and shock wave behavior in thermal vapor compressor(TVC),a popular equipment in wastewater recycling industry,was empirically approximated,mathematically formulated with standard k-ε model and numerically simulated with Fluent software.The influence of the TVC operating conditions on the flow-state and properties of shock-wave was investigated.The simulated results show that the operation steam experiences: i) the rapid velocity-increase and pressure-decrease in the ejector,ii) slow velocity-decrease and pressure-increase,accompanied by reflux,in the mixing-section,iii) fast velocity-decrease in the expansion-section; and that the formation of rhombic shock wave significantly depends on the high-pressure of the active operation steam and on the low-pressure of the passively sucked up steam.We suggest that the simulated results be of some technological interest in design optimization of thermal vapor compressors.
