Abstract: With the commercialization of 5 G in China, 5 G has become an essential infrastructure for the transformation of the digital economy. It has gradually spread and penetrated into all areas of society. The 5 G industry chain is very extensive, including parts, main equipment, operators and applications. As a modern basic science with a wide range of applications, vacuum technology has many applications in the 5 G industry. From the preparation process of materials and devices in 5 G base stations, vacuum leak detection of optical communication devices, 5 G mobile phones, VR/AR equipment, and driverless cars, vacuum technology is involved and widely used.
