Study on the Variation of the Average Differential Pressure between the Head and Tail of High-Speed Trains in Vacuum Tube

  • In order to investigate the influence of the Mach number of the train, the vacuum degree, and the blockage ratio on the average pressure difference between the head and tail of a high-speed train in a vacuum tube,a vacuum tube transportation system model with three train sets is established in this paper. The realizable turbulence model in Fluent is used to obtain the pressure field of the vacuum tube transportation system and analyze the variation law of the average pressure difference between the head and tail of the train by using local mesh encryption technology. The results show that an increase in the Mach number, vacuum degree, and blockage ratio of the train all result in a larger average pressure difference between the head and tail of the train. The average differential pressure between the head and tail of the train is linearly increasing with the vacuum degree of the tube;parabolic increasing with the Mach number of the train;linearly increasing at a lower speed at a blockage ratio of 0.2 to 0.4 and linearly increasing at a higher speed at a blockage ratio of 0.4 to 0.5.
