Low-Temperature fast DC Sintering Equipment for Sintering Boron Carbide Ceramics

  • New boron carbide ceramics have excellent characteristics such as low density, high hardness and high modulus, It is widely used to manufacture military bulletproof ceramics and aerospace nuclear energy materials.This article summarizes and analyzes the current main sintering methods of sintered boron carbide ceramics, and explains and introduces the main structure and control system of the DCS sintering furnace developed by our company for rapid low temperature sintered boron carbide ceramics, and successfully explored the rapid low-temperature sintering process of boron carbide with a density greater than 99.5%,which greatly reduced the time and cost of boron carbide ceramic sinter.
