Flow Field in Asymmetric Nozzle of Diesel Engine: A Simulation Study

  • The nozzle cross section area of the gas phase volume fraction are mass flow rate were obtained, the difference of flow parameters and pressure of each hole was analyzed. Research results:the rate of increase between the gas-phase volume ratio and the pressure difference during cavitation will decrease successively according to the order of hole 1, hole 5, hole 2, hole 3 and hole 4 Under the same jet pressure, the greater the axial angle of nozzle hole, the more obvious, and the degree of cavitation and the cavitation are appeared on the corner. At the same inlet pressure and inlet pressure difference, the mass flow rate of each hole is consistent with the volume fraction of gas phase. With the increase of inlet pressure and the difference of inlet and outlet pressure, the mass flow rate of each hole increases monotonously.
