新型高效真空电子束焊机

Development of Novel Vacuum Electron Beam Welder with Rapid Workpiece Exchange Capability

  • 摘要: 因真空电子束焊机具有焊接能量利用率高、焊接质量好等优点, 但目前真空电子束焊机存在辅助工作消耗时间长、消耗能源多的缺点, 直接影响着产品的成本和价格。本文针对一空心轴盘形齿轮的焊接, 通过对两个关键问题的解决, 提出了一种新型真空电子束焊机。首先, 实现了全时真空工作仓系统;然后, 实现了真空工作仓内的上、下料工作;最后, 通过实验, 对比了新型焊机和普通焊机的生产效率。实验结果表明, 该新型焊机应用于批量生产中, 优势明显。对真空电子束技术的发展提供了有价值的参考。

     

    Abstract: A novel type of vacuum electron beam welder has been successfully developed for high precision welding of advanced materials in production line.The new vacuum e-beam welder comprised the main chamber, two transition chambers, conveying belt, industrial robot for accurately positioning workpiece, electron gun, welding workbench, pumping and control units.The original work included the workpiece manipulation and exchange in the main and transition vacuum chambers, respectively.After exposing to air for loading (unloading) a workpiece, the gatevalve isolated transition chamber can be independently and rapidly pumped to vacuum.A hollow-shaft disk-gear was welded with the newly-developed vacuum e-beam welder.The results show that the new vacuum e-beam welder outperforms the conventional one because of better welding quality, greater efficiency, lower energy consumption and higher degree of automation.
